SÃO PAULO: Band Internacional, a Brazilian channel that delivers Portuguese-language content to viewers in the U.S., Latin America and Africa, has launched a new online destination.

Comunicação, the website provides programming information and a look at the current schedule. There are a host of social media and community engagement features that connect viewers across platforms such as Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. The site also showcases interviews with personalities seen on the network, among other features.

Silvia Saad Jafet, the general director of Band Internacional, said, "Our new website is another tool available to our subscribers. Besides checking the schedule, our users can access extra information and send us their comments and suggestions, which will always be welcome. We are very excited to be launching the Band Internacional website."
